Lupine Field Engagement Session in Bethlehem, New Hampshire

Engagement sessions are fun because we're not constrained by a venue or a timeline.

These sessions are an opportunity to get creative, build a photoshoot around a couple's vision, and embrace a little adventure along the way. John and Tina's engagement session was a perfect example. Tina had the idea to photograph their session during peak lupine season in New Hampshire's White Mountains, and I didn't need much convincing. We connected in June and managed to time it perfectly with the annual bloom.

I originally met John and Tina through the mountain biking community, and as avid skiers and bikers, it felt only fitting that their engagement session was fully immersed in the outdoors. We spent the evening wandering through fields of blooming lupines in Bethlehem, New Hampshire, with views of Cannon Mountain and the surrounding White Mountains providing a stunning backdrop.

In addition to the lupine fields, we made our way to Cannon Mountain, the ski area the couple calls their home mountain. Between the wildflowers, mountain views, and golden evening light, the session felt like a celebration of the places and activities that have shaped their relationship.

Planning a Lupine Engagement Session in New Hampshire

Lupines typically bloom throughout June in New Hampshire's White Mountains, making them one of the most sought-after locations for engagement photos. Because bloom timing varies each year, flexibility is key when planning a session among the flowers.
