I’m Katie Lo, a documentary wedding and portrait photographer based in Western Massachusetts and New England. My approach is rooted in storytelling — capturing honest moments, natural connection, and the energy of a day as it unfolds.
With a background in documentary and outdoor photography, I’m drawn to images that feel alive: candid moments, rich color, movement, atmosphere, and the small details that often go unnoticed.
I call New England home, though part of my heart still lives in the Rocky Mountain West. If you value authentic imagery, a relaxed experience, and a little adventure, we’ll probably get along well.

The big day! Your wedding day is a major chapter in your love story, and I’ll document it as such. My goal is to capture both the big and small moments so you can relive this special day for years to come. As your wedding photographer, I’ll be your point woman, hype woman, pseudo-assistant, and more. My goal is for you to forget that the camera exists and to just enjoy the party.
Engagements
Engagement sessions are about more than just getting a snazzy photo for that announcement card. It’s a chance to celebrate this new chapter as a couple. Plus, we can really think outside the box. Want to shoot on the top of a mountain? Done. On the beach? Done. Tell me your vision, and we’ll bring it to life.
